Dr. Heather Crabtree, LP
Chief Research Officer
Dr. Heather Crabtree is a board certified clinical psychologist who serves children, adolescents and their families. Dr. Crabtree graduated in 2011 from Nova Southeastern University where she invested in her long term passion of helping children and their families. With an emphasis on children's mental health, Dr. Crabtree completed her education with her dissertation on an expansive look at prescription privileges for psychologists and the views of general practitioners on the topic. Following her comprehensive education, Dr. Crabtree expanded her pre-licensure experience at Marshfield Clinic, an integrated mental health clinic where she served many children struggling with their mental health needs through providing therapy, family therapy and assessment.
Dr. Crabtree then brought her talents to serve the rural community of Buffalo, Minnesota, in 2013. En route of her decade long service in Buffalo, Dr. Crabtree became board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) highlighting her expertise in child and adolescent psychology. With her experience and expertise, Dr. Crabtree continues to serve countless families with her services that continue to focus on both therapy and psychological assessment.
More recently, Dr. Crabtree reintegrated her passion for research informing interventions through joining a team of psychologists in creating a podcast series for teachers that worked to promote inclusive classrooms, teach self-care skills for teachers and integrating gratitude into the day to day practice of teaching. Furthermore, Dr. Crabtree also lifts up influential and current research through her role as supervisor in an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited training program.
Outside of her impactful work as a psychologist and clinical supervisor, Dr. Crabtree enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and young son, reading, being outdoors, and attending Minnesota Twins baseball games.
